Unlike the Apple Smart cover, our new iPad case is a single panel design. You can use it in a landscape viewing position by opening the cover partway. See photo here.
It will not work correctly on slippery surfaces but works even better than the Smart Cover on your lap or on your bed!
Overall we have improved our product for the new iPad. We strongly feel our new version feels much more solid and is a better product than our iPad 2 case. We hope you agree! =)
