With our iPhone 5 SkateCase, bamboo case, and Skatebacks, our flash distortion tests reveal similar results. There is very slight whitening of the images. For most people, I would imagine this is a non-issue. Results vary depending on distance and ambient light. The images below were taken of a very dark storage closet to demonstrate the distortion.
Luckily, for the iPhone 4 and 4s bamboo cases, flash distortion can be solved with the use of flash-fix stickers, which are included with any of our iPhone 4/4s cases sold after 5/6/13! These stickers cannot be used for flash fixing on the the iPhone 5 bamboo case, iPhone 5 SkateCase, or SkateBacks.
